Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Starts November 13 and takes place on 18 evenings through the end of November and into December. I told you a couple of months ago about Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and what a blast that is. Well, in just a few short days begins a delightful treat at the Magic Kingdom in Disney World called Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

For five very special days in November (13, 17, 27, 28, 30), the Magic Kingdom invites you to attend their after hours party. There is a very special parade aptly called Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parade with two very special guests in the parade that children will be delighted to see: Santa and Mrs. Claus. There will be live shows and Disney characters dressed up in their holiday best ready to meet and greet the children and adults alike.

Are they having special fireworks? Of course they are! What would a night at the Magic Kingdom be without their fantastic night time spectacular called Holiday Wishes – Celebrate the Spirit of the Season and the music of course is the holiday music marking the season.

Even more than all of this are the carolers along Main Street, the hot cocoa that you can sip and the Christmas cookies you can nibble while snow flurries around you. Yes, on Main Street U.S.A. in Florida, it will snow! Christmas at the Magic Kingdom is one of the most popular attractions drawing visitors from around the world.

The after hours party begins at 7 in the evening and requires a separate ticket purchase:

  • Adults (10 and up) are $45.95 +tax
  • Children ages 3-9 are $37.95 +tax

If you buy your tickets in advance, you can save $6 and if you’re planning to attend Disney World on any of the following dates, you should book ahead for the after hours party because they sell out quickly.

Dates for the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party:

  • November 13, 17, 27, 28, & 30
  • December 1, 4, 5, 7, 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 18, 19, 21, 22

Next Christmas, our family wants to spend it at Disney World and attend the Very Merry Christmas party – have you ever had an opportunity to go or are you planning to attend this year?
