Did you know that it is pretty likely that your favorite grocery store has a website? Of course you do! But did you also know that many grocery stores are using their websites to offer you extra discounts, coupons and even free delivery. Take advantage of these grocery store websites to save on your next grocery bill.
In Store Savings
Before you shop, look for coupons. Target, for example, offers up to 80 different coupons that you can print at home before you shop. Combine these coupons with other manufacturer coupons that you can find in the newspaper or online for double savings.
Many stores also offer sales and coupons that you can load directly on to your loyalty card, also sometimes called a bonus card, a savings card or a store card. You won’t have to clip any coupons, the extra discounts will come off of your order automatically once your card is scanned in the store. You will have to visit the website though and add the discounts to your card each week.
Sometimes the stores will even make it easy for you to see the weekly specials and the final prices of items with and without your coupons. This will make it easier for you to target great deals.
Ordering Online
While it isn’t completely widespread, a number of stores will allow you to order your groceries right there on line and either choose a time to pick them up (many stores will bring the groceries out to your car) or delivery them for free or a low price. The general policy is that there is no tipping allowed, so you’ll save despite the convenience.
Check your stores policy. Some grocery stores will allow you to use coupons with online orders while others will not. If yours doesn’t, stick to basics and store brands that are on sale to save the most money that you can.
