Welcome to the summer! Regal Cinemas will give you the opportunity to take the kids to the movies all summer long for only $1 per person! The $1 Summer Movie Express Program is back.
Participating Regal Cinema theaters will offer $1 movies each Tuesday and Wednesday at 10am. All of the movies are family friendly, so you won’t have to worry about age-appropriateness. In fact, Regal Cinemas has released the titles of the movies that they will be showing! All of the movies are rated G or PG. *
The Three Stooges
Ice Age: Continental Drift
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days
Parental Guidance
Mr. Poppers’ Penguins
Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked
Monte Carlo
Rio
Coraline
ParaNorman
Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax
Big Miracle
Yogi Bear
Journey 2: The Mysterious Island
Racing Stripes
Happy Feet Too
African Cats
Chimpanzee
Since going to the movies with a larger family can be expensive, we only do it for a special occasion, such as a birthday, however, I will definitely be taking advantage of this program this summer. Going into a cool, darkened theater in the summer can be a lot of fun, especially when going to the theater is a rare thing.
To learn more about the program, you can visit the Regal Cinemas website and click on Regal Summer Movies Express, or just follow this link. http://www.regmovies.com/Movies/Summer-Movie-Express.
* I do recommend that you check out the reviews for any movie you are thinking about allowing your children to see. I usually visit the website PluggedIn to get a detailed review that includes information on violence, language, sexual situations and more. PG stands for Parental Guidance, so you should know what you are getting into. (I will not be taking my kids to at least two of the movies listed above).
