25 Days until Christmas!

Well, the countdown has officially begun. There are only twenty-five days left until Christmas! Isn’t that exciting? I bet you can’t wait to see all those presents under the tree. If you go to school, you don’t have long until Christmas vacation starts. Yay!

I’m going to give you some fun ideas for stuff to do and crafts to make to keep you busy and help you pass the time until Christmas gets here. Hopefully, some of these ideas will help you keep from being bored while you’re on vacation.

I hope you’ll go back and look at other holiday ideas in this section too, because lots of them can be adapted to use for Christmas, not just other holidays. Don’t worry. There will be lots of new stuff too.

We already did Christmas stockings and some decorations, but there will be lots more stuff, including gifts that you give to friends and family. I also plan to have some projects for New Year’s later in December. As always, you can let me know if there is anything special that you would like to see.

Some people like to say Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas, and that’s okay too. But, we can still say Merry Christmas, and that’s what I like to say. So, the projects I list will mostly say Merry Christmas because that’s the message I believe in, but if you want to change it on your projects you can. You can use Happy Holidays or Season’s Greetings or anything you like.

Candy CanesHere’s one example: You can make a sign for your front door or bedroom door to wish everyone that comes over a Merry Christmas. Don’t just make it a plain sign though; add some dimension to it. Glue on real candy canes, pinecones, and ribbons. You can also cut the poster board or other material into the shape of Christmas tree, a wreath, an ornament, or anything else that you think is festive and then print your message and decorate it.

Please check back often for more ideas.

I hope each of you have a wonderful Christmas and a blessed New Year.
