5 Reasons Why You Need a Rotisserie

1. No soggy spots. Have you ever noticed that the bottom of your turkey always ends up soggy when you cook it in a pan? Have you ever tried to turn your turkey so that it didn?t have a soggy side? I?ll admit. I?ve tried. The splattered drippings were murder to clean up. With a rotisserie, you never have soggy spots and the rotisserie does the turning for you.

3. Cooks in half the time. A rotisserie constantly turns and never burns. The even distribution of heat allows it to cook meat in half the time you?d wait for it to cook in a conventional oven.

4. No pots, pans or bags to mess around with ? or wash. Cleanup is amazing with a rotisserie! Simply line the drip pan with aluminum foil and toss it when you?ve finished cooking. Voila! Now the most tedious part of preparing a turkey is just carving it!

With my purchase, I received a basket that fits into the rotisserie spit. I can use it for cooking vegetables but my favorite use for it is cooking boneless, skinless, chicken breasts. Just toss some chicken breasts with a touch of olive oil and some Lemon & Pepper Mrs. Dash and in 20 minutes, you?ve got some great tasting, tender and juicy chicken breasts. Add some streamed rice and vegetables and you?ve got a fantastic meal that is low calorie, low fat and good for you.
