5 Things I Love about Rafflecopter

1. Simple Set-up: Setting up a giveaway on Rafflecopter is fast and easy. You are taken through several steps to customize your giveaway. To begin, you click on “new giveaway”. Then you simply enter the name of the giveaway, the prize, how to enter, and any terms and conditions you want to specify. You can “add a prize” if your giveaway consists of more than one prize. You can set your giveaway up in advance by selecting a date. Once you put it up on your blog, the giveaway will not begin until the day you select. You can select the end date as well but not the time. All giveaways end at 12:01 a.m. or any day you select. Once you enter all the necessary items you simply copy the code and paste it to your blog post. Make sure your post is set to “html” before you post.

2. No More Asking for Email Addresses Simple Set-up: Most giveaways have a mandatory entry requiring an email address of those who enter. With Rafflecopter you no longer have to ask for email addresses. Rafflecopter asks for email address when entering and will provide it to you if that person is the winner.

3. Picks Your Winner: No more counting entries for you! Rafflecopter will randomly pick a winner based on all the entries provided. Once Rafflecopter picks a winner, you are provided with the person’s email address and can email with a click right from the Rafflecopter website. Rafflecopter will update the giveaway on your blog to reflect the winner’s name.

4. Easy to Enter: Rafflecopter giveaways are just as easy to enter as they are to set up. This will make your giveaway much more popular. Everyone loves a giveaway but no one likes complicated entries.

5. Organizes your Giveaways: Your giveaways are organized by “happening now”, “starting soon” and “already finished.” A great tool to see all your giveaways at one time.
