We’ve been married for 16 years, but it wasn’t until a couple of years ago that I got my first matching set of silverware. It seems a silly thing. But there were always other priorities, and it didn’t matter so much when the kids were little. Silverware, regardless of quality, was just as likely to be used to dig holes in the backyard as to set a fine table. Now that the kids are a little older, Paul thought it was time that I had a proper table setting.
