This is the third, and final, blog in my series that gives details about how the sequester will affect your state this year. These cuts will go into affect on March 1, 2013, (unless Congress prevents that from happening).
Minnesota

Mississippi
* Loss of $5,486,000 in funding for primary and secondary education
* 80 teacher and aide jobs at risk
* Additional loss of $6,124,000 in funds for 70 teachers, aides, and staff who help kids with disabilities
Missouri
* Loss of $11.9 million in funding for primary and secondary education
* 160 teacher and aide jobs at risk
* Additional loss of $10.8 million in funds for 130 teachers, aides, and staff who help kids with disabilities
Montana
* Loss of $1,536,000 in funding for primary and secondary education
* 20 teacher and aide jobs at risk
* Additional loss of $1,919,000 in funds for 20 teachers, aides, and staff who help kids with disabilities
Nebraska
* Loss of $2,988,000 in funding for primary and secondary education
* 40 teacher and aide jobs at risk
* Additional loss of $3,530,000 in funds for 40 teachers, aides, and staff who help kids with disabilities
Nevada
* Loss of $9 million in funding for primary and secondary school
* 120 teacher and aide jobs at risk
* Additional loss of $3.8 million in funds for 50 teachers, aides, and staff who help kids with disabilities
New Hampshire
* Loss of $1,078,000 in funding for primary and secondary education
* Additional loss of $2.2 million in funds for 30 teachers, aides, and staff who help kids with disabilities
New Jersey
* Loss of $11.7 million in funding for primary and secondary education
* 160 teacher and aide jobs at risk
* Additional loss of $17 million in funds for 210 teachers, aides, and staff who help kids with disabilities
New Mexico
* Loss of $6.1 million in funding for primary and secondary education
* 80 teacher and aide jobs at risk
* Additional loss of $4.4 million in funds for 50 teachers, aides, and staff who help children with disabilities
New York
* Loss of $42.7 million in funding for primary and secondary education
* 590 teacher and aide jobs at risk
* Additional loss of $36.3 million in funds for 440 teachers, aides, and staff who help kids with disabilities
North Carolina
* Loss of $25.4 million in funding for primary and secondary education
* 350 teacher and aide jobs at risk
* Additional loss of $16.8 million in funds for 200 teachers, aides, and staff who help kids with disabilities
North Dakota
* Loss of $1,132,000 in funding for primary and secondary education
* 20 teacher and aide jobs at risk
* Additional loss of $1,494,000 in funds for 20 teachers, aides, and staff who help kids with disabilities
Ohio
* Loss of $25.1 million in funding for primary and secondary education
* 350 teacher and aide jobs at risk
* Additional loss of $22 million in funds for 270 teachers, aides, and staff who help kids with disabilities
