If sailing off into a stunning summer sunset without sinking your entire vacation budget seems too good to be true, think again.
For a limited time, Princess Cruises is offering a summer clearance sale on voyages to Alaska and Europe. The promotion features savings of up to 50% off rack rates on more than 200 summer sailings. It also includes on-board credits of $25 to $100 depending on the type of accommodations you book. For example, if you book an interior or ocean-view cabin on sailings of up to nine days, you will receive $25 in credit. However, if you pay for a balcony cabin or suites on sailings of up to nine days, you will receive a $50 credit. You can double your credit if you set sail on a cruise lasting 10 days or longer.
Some sample itineraries featured as part of the sale include:
- 7-night Gulf of Alaska cruises from $399 per person for an inside cabin; balcony cabins start at $799 per person.
- 12-night Greek Isles cruises from $799 per person for an inside cabin; balcony cabins start at $1,299 per person.

If you are interested in taking advantage of the sale, you have until 11:59 p.m. PST on May 8th to book. Also, keep in mind that the promotion is only available to residents of the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico.
