Mike “Boogie” Malin topped all the other houseguests to win the $500,000 first prize. Along the way, he also won a trip for two to Aruba, a big screen plasma television, and a sports car convertible. Where do you sign up to be on Big Brother?
7. Finally, We See Suri
The beautiful baby girl made her debut on the cover of Vanity Fair. I guess the fact that she looks just like a cross between her mom (Katie Holmes) and dad (Tom Cruise) can put the rest the rumors that she really isn’t their baby.
6. P.Diddy Changes Name…Again
From Puff Daddy to P. Diddy to just plain Diddy, now a court says Sean Combs cannot use Diddy in the UK because British DJ Richard “Diddy” Dearlove has been using it for at least 10 years. So what is he in the UK now, just P?
5. Jessica Simpson is Dating John Mayer. No, Wait, She Isn’t
In a turn of events that would even make most Hollywood heads swim, Jessica Simpson was on the cover of People last week saying she was in love, apparently with singer John Mayer. This week, she says the two aren’t even dating. Huh?
4. Lindsay’s Bag Is Back
Lindsay Lohan had a bag stolen from the parking lot of Heathrow Airport. Turns out, it was a pretty important bag, containing $954,000 worth of jewelry. The bag was found, but police won’t say what, if anything, is missing. And to think I get nervous with a $100 in my purse!
3. Paris Hilton Arrested for Drunk Driving
I hate to say it, but frankly, I am surprised this didn’t happen sooner. And hasn’t happened to more of the young Hollywood stars who seem to do little but party – some even underage.
2. Peter Boyle Ill
His publicist won’t confirm it, but there are reports that “Everybody Loves Raymond” star Peter Boyle has been diagnosed with heart disease and is not in good health at all. If this is true, I hope the press just leaves him alone.
1. Whitney Houston Files for Divorce
Oh, I cannot help but think that this is bad news. I know for the longest, everyone said Bobby was the source of her problems, but now I think it is drugs. I thought I remembered reading that he was concerned about her drug use and now I wonder if that is why she is filing for divorce. I hope everything works out best – especially for their daughter Bobbi Kristina.
