The Benefits of the Perpetual Education Fund

The church has always placed great importance on the value of education. You can see this through the four colleges that the church operates as well as many of the LDS academies that the church operates in other countries in poor areas. You can also see this in the adult literacy programs that the church has offered throughout the world.

In the past few years the church has started another way to help church members achieve their education goals. It is the Perpetual Education Fund. This is a great opportunity for members to have the opportunity to gain an education so that they can better care for themselves and their family members. The program is modeled after the Perpetual Emigration Fund that was established in the 1850’s to help members travel to Utah.

The Perpetual Education Fund is a loan program that is available to people in countries outside of the United States. Other countries do not have the same funding available to help their citizens gain a higher education. The program works as a counseling service, and provides money to help the students achieve an education. Often the people are becoming certified in trades or occupations, which can double or triple the amount of money they bring home annually.

One reason that this fund is unique is because it allows people to give to those who are in need in a way that is life changing. It gives the individuals who participate an opportunity to pull themselves out of poverty, and to provide a good life for their families. It changes the cycle of poverty.

You can learn more about the Perpetual Education Fund at the church’s website. You can see where the money goes, and how the program operates. You can read specific stories of people who have been blessed by what the fund has accomplished so far. You can also learn ways that you can help.
