Flag Burning… What about the Mexican Flag?

This story isn’t new, but I just learned about it. Apparently, back in April, a man named Roy Warden was arrested for burning a Mexican Flag. Arrested? I have to admit I was rather shocked to hear such a thing, since burning our own flag is certainly fine by many liberal standards and no one gets arrested for that. I don’t necessarily agree with burning any country’s flag, but…

Man Arrested for Burning Mexican Flag

IF it’s fine to wave the Mexican flag here in America, or to remove the American flag and replace it with the Mexican flag then I guess it should get the same “free speech” treatment our own flag is given, right? At least he didn’t burn their flag or stomp on it, in their country.

Mexican Flag Flies and U.S. Post Office “Old Glory Stamped on in Protest”

I’m afraid I would have been arrested if I had witnessed some of these actions. Isn’t removing a nation’s flag and flying the flag of your own country in it’s place considered an invasion? Apparently not, in the Bizarro World we are currently existing in.

Am I crazy, or has the rest of the world lost its collective mind? We are in the middle of the most dangerous war ever faced, a global war, yet our homeland is being invaded not by our “enemies” but by our “neighbors” at the same time.

Americans should never put up with such actions. Legal immigrants, naturalized citizens, and native-born Americans alike need to stand together. Forget all this politically correct nonsense, which basically amounts to a self-loathing perception of this country, one wherein some delusional souls believe that we should pay for our freedom and prosperity through allowing guilt and abuse to be piled on top of us.

Forget it. Our freedom is paid for by the blood, sweat, and tears of brave men and women who fight to defend what is good and decent, and our prosperity is paid for by hard work and ingenuity. We don’t owe anybody else a thing. Anything we do offer is a gift, it is certainly not an obligation.
