10. Aaron Carter Calls Off Engagement

The engagement ring didn’t even have time to get warm on her finger when Aaron called off the engagement. It seemed a bit hasty anyhow. Here’s a clue Aaron – you are only 18 – grow up, then think about getting married!

9. Edward Albert Dies

Some people may have missed this as I never saw it on CNN, but Edward Albert, son of Eddie Albert, died this week of lung cancer at the age of 55. An accomplished actor and activist in his own right, Edward spent most the last ten years caring for his father, who died last year at the age of 99.

8. Charlie’s in the Big Bucks

Charlie Sheen is ready to sign a new contract with CBS, making him the highest paid sitcom star currently on television. He is expected to make $350,000 per episode. At least a portion of the “Two and a Half Men” is seeing dollar signs!

7. Amanda Peet Pregnant

As if a new show (“Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip”) wasn’t enough, Amanda Peet is now adding motherhood and marriage to her plate. She revealed on David Letterman’s show last Wednesday that she is pregnant and will marry fiance David Benioff this weekend.

6. Reverend Run and Wife Lose Baby

You may remember Reverend Run from as part of the group Run DMC or from his MTV reality series “Run’s House.” The couple has five children and wife Justine was pregnant, but lost the baby earlier this week. They released a heartbreaking yet eloquent statement about their baby’s death. My prayers are with Run and his family.

5. P and the Little Diddys

Sean Combs announced this week that the twins he and long time girlfriend Kim Porter are expecting are girls. Sean says he would like to get married, but not quite yet. Hey, Sean, what is the hold up?

4. Terrell Owens Attempts Suicide…Or Not

Depending on whom you talk to, Dallas Cowboy star Terrell Owens either tried to commit suicide earlier this week or merely had a bad reaction to a mixture of supplements and pain medication. The police are officially calling it an “accidental overdose.” Here’s hoping it was just an accident.

3. President Clooney? Governor Clooney?

George Clooney, despite an interest in politics, says he is not interested in running for office, saying “Believe me, you don’t want me in politics.” Read more about it in Michele’s blog.

2. Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler has Hepatitis C

Adding his name to the growing list of celebs who have Hepatitis C (Pamela Anderson, Naomi Judd, and Larry Hagman), Steven Tyler admitted this week that he had been battling the disease for while now.

1. Anna Nicole Marries in the Bahamas

I just read that Anna Nicole and lawyer Howard Stern (who just announced he was the new baby’s father) just got married. According to Star Magazine, the two married yesterday in a catamaran off Blackbeard’s Cay. What a turbulent two weeks it has been for Anna Nicole!
