We’ve all seen them (in pictures anyway) those cute and (by all accounts) spoiled children of Hollywood’s elite dressed to the nines (well, except for Britney Spear’s baby Sean Preston who made PEOPLE’s worst dressed list prior to his first birthday—but that’s fodder for another blog). Most of their designer duds were bought well before their births so as soon as they make their public debut it’s all about the swag.
So what are the hottest names in baby fashion? According to the experts, Hatley’s Bear Naked apparel–from rompers to onesies—are among the preferred items of choice for Tinseltown’s hottest offspring. (But, bear in mind that the onesies will set you back about $20, while the rompers will cost you about $30.) In fact, according to one fashion magazine, the Hatley frenzy has reached recently epic proportions with some star parents. Proud papa Heath Ledger reportedly nabbed Hatley pajamas, a pink pony print raincoat, rain boots and slogan tees for his baby daughter Mathilda. While actress Rachel Weisz grabbed a Bear raincoat and little red Moose boots for her infant son, Henry.
Britney’s Sean Preston may not be the king of fashion (I never see that kid with pants on), but another singing sensation’s little bundle of joy is rockin’ when it comes to fashion. Gwen Stefani’s baby boy, Kingston James Rossdale is quickly becoming the most fashionable baby in L.A., appearing out and about in various Harajuku Lovers onesies and tees (which range in price from $30-$40.)
Finally, the little boy who was named the best-dressed kid the world over by PEOPLE Magazine in its Best & Worst Dressed issue—Maddox Jolie-Pitt. I’m not sure who exactly bestowed him with the title, but I guess if casual is cool (I’ve only seen him wearing t-shirts) then he takes the cake. Or should I say the bulldog. Maddox’s infamous bulldog T-shirt by Appaman (which you can find online at Kitson) became a hot-seller after he was photographed wearing it.
So, what do you think? Would you dress your kids in any of these duds?
