Fun Thanksgiving Activities

Are you getting excited about the holidays? Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away, so go ahead and start making crafts and other Thanksgiving projects. In this article, you will find a turkey craft idea as well as some resources for holiday clip art, activities, and coloring pages. Ask a grown up to print out some coloring pages and puzzles for you to do between other projects.

Dimensional Turkey Craft

Draw a turkey or print out a cool clip art turkey to start this project. Then, glue on feathers, beads, sequins, colored sand, glitter, or any other items you like to make it more dimensional. Just fill in the different sections (one at a time) with some glue, then press your decorative items into the glue. It’s easy and fun. You’ll have lots of cute decorations to place around the house. My favorite one to make is a glitter turkey. Just use different colors of glitter to make each area of the bird distinctive. You can use these dimensional turkeys to decorate any room in your home, and you can even glue a magnet to the back to hang your bird on the fridge if you like.
