Can’t Get enough of these!
Do you ever come across an item (or items) that you just want to use over and over on your scrapbook layouts or other paper crafts? There are a few things that I have been having a lot of fun using lately and I thought that I would share them with you.
Scenic Route Capetown Collection Paper. This paper is absolutely beautiful! Each paper is double-sided with absolutely gorgeous patterns. I recommend buying two of each sheet so that you can have a full page of each design. It is printed on a thick cardstock that is nice and sturdy. There are such a nice variety of patterns, which makes this paper perfect for so many different events.
Heidi Swapp Mask Alphabet. This alphabet is the opposite of a stencil. The way you use is by placing the tacky backed letters onto your layout where you want the word. You then use paint, chalk, ink or whatever you can think of to cover the letters and the surrounding area. You then peel the letter up and have the area surrounding the letters show the outline. These are really addicting and also come in different fonts and shapes.
7 Gypsies 97% Complete Tags and 7 Gypsies 97% Complete Stamps. These little tags come in nearly 50 varieties and add such a great touch to a layout. The stamps come in a variety of designs. These are both a great place to add a little journaling in a creative way.
Here are a few layouts I’ve recently completed that use these products.
The first is a Breakfast with Shamu layout. The Shamu title was create using the masks and black paint. I also used the Scenic Route patterned paper. I have especially had fun with the arrow paper.
The next layout is titled Jump! Once again I used the mask alpha to create the title. I outlined the masks with a black pen after the paint dried to help the letters stand out a little more of the busy patterned paper. I also used the 7 Gypsies tag in the center of the layout for the journaling.
The final layout I want to share today is called Friends. Once again, the mask alphas and paint were used to create the title. I love how the title really stands out with the use of the masks.
These items were all included in Scrapbook Circle’s Special Edition Kit and have been such fun to play with. This kit is sold out, but you can find these items but doing a web search or by looking at you favorite scrapbook store.
Here is a picture of the kit so you can see the paper, masks, tags and stamp.
