It’s the holiday season and the Disney theme parks are decking themselves out as they get ready for it all. As part of the celebrations, Disney’s California Adventure is decorating it from front to back. For starters, guests will notice that the letters at the entrance way that spell out CALIFORNIA have been redone to appear as swirling white and red peppermint sticks.
You’ll find plenty of new attractions and old favorites at Disney’s California Adventure as well including:
- The High School Musical Pep Rally
- Monster’s Inc: Mike & Sully to the Rescue
- Soarin’ Over California (an absolute must, let me tell you!)
- The Twilight Zone Towner of Terror
If you head over to A Bug’s Land, you’ll find that Flik and his buddies have taken it upon themselves to spread Christmas lights and towers of candy cane all over. If you swing around to Paradise Bay, you’ll find a brilliantly decorated Christmas tree along with dozens of Christmas wreathes and literally hundreds of lights on all the other trees in the area.
Want to check out Santa’s Beach Blast? Head over to Sunshine Plaza where they have blended the holiday classics with the California beach lifestyle. Yes, before you ask – Santa is a surfer! You can find him near Woody’s wagon sleigh and there are plenty of seaside holiday decorations to go around.
I’ve never gotten a chance to visit Disney’s California Adventure, but between the happenings here and at Disneyland’s Magic Kingdom as well as the East coast Christmas fun at Disney World, it’s enough to make me wish I had a magical sleigh to fly me back and forth to see both of them in one weekend as well! Now wouldn’t that be a Disney Dream to Come True!
So how about some Christmas, California Disney style?
