We’ve talked about Christmas in the parks, but what’s happening for New Year’s? Well mark down your Calendar if you’re going to be in the Orlando, Florida area. This year the happening place to be looks to be Disney World and their theme parks. If you are planning to visit a Disney World theme park on December 31, you should plan to arrive early and stay late. Some parks will close their gates to new visitors depending on their capacity and there will be a priority entrance given to guests of the Walt Disney World Resorts.

The big celebrations will actually kick off at midnight to celebrate the arrival of 2007. Let’s break it down into a calendar of the events for you to keep track of:

  • Pleasure Island New Year’s Eve – The night clubs and dancing destinations will all be open and hopping for visitors to celebrate their New Year’s Eve
  • Cirque du Soleil New Year’s Even will offer visitors and guests a way to ring in the New Year while watching the dazzling acrobatic beauty of La Nouba by Cirque du Soleil

Don’t forget, this is Disney’s Year of a Million Dreams and New Year’s Eve will find some Disney guests the recipients of their own dreams come true. So whether you are spending Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year’s at Disney World or Disneyland Parks in California – there is something for everyone. Where will you be this New Year’s Eve?
