Diabetic Dessert

If you are entertaining this Christmas, you may have a Diabetic in your group. They probably won’t say anything about how they shouldn’t have all of those delicious treats that you have prepared. The cure for that is to fix some treats for diabetics too. My Grandmother is a diabetic and she loves to have her cookies. When she goes out to someones party, she won’t usually tell anyone that she is a diabetic. So she either eats what they have fixed or she doesn’t eat at all. This recipe is for diabetics but my family can eat them up. They are healthy for the kids too. They will taste just like ice cream sandwich bars.

Here is what you will need:

1 box of graham crackers. Get the plain brown.

1 tub of Cool Whip Lite

Here is what you can do:

Graham crackers come in four sections put together. Break in half. Then take a couple of spoonfuls of cool whip and put on the top of that section. Then take the other section and place it on top. It will look like a sandwich. Finish out the rest and place them on a freezeable tray or you can wrap them up individually. Put in the freezer for a few hours to let the cool whip firm. Serve them to your guest.

Suggestions:
You can buy chocolate graham crackers, cinnamon or honey graham crackers
Your kids can help make this recipe 100%
Now cool whip comes in French vanilla, Chocolate and Sugar Free. So experiment with the new tastes as well.
You can add food coloring to your cool whip and make the cool whip a different color, such as Christmas colors-red and green. For a kids party, you can make them all colors: red, blue, yellow, green, etc.
This no bake treat would also be great for a slumber party.
