There’s an old saying – faith manages and what it means is that we can get through anything, we can achieve anything and we can do anything – because faith manages. It doesn’t matter what faith you subscribe to or believe in, it only matters that you have faith. When you have faith, that inexorable belief in something beyond yourself, you have the ability to let go of some things and not to worry them to pieces.
Faith Manages
When you feel like the debt is mounting up against you and that no matter how hard you and your spouse are working – you are not going to get ahead – you have to just tell yourself that faith manages. Because sooner or later, your hard work will pay off and you will see a light at the end of the tunnel.
When you are struggling with each other and all your commitments and it seems like you’ll never recapture those days when it was just the two of you without so many burdens weighing you down. You have to find the moments in the now that are precious and wonderful and that are worth savoring, because faith manages.
Faith manages when all else fails because faith allows us to be patient and to accept the fact that while we cannot always affect the changes we want, we can endure and survive and be stronger for it. Faith manages when we doubt ourselves and we doubt our capacity to solve our own problems, because if we just move patiently, one step at a time, we will eventually achieve our destination.
In a marriage, faith manages because it tells us that maybe we’re disagreeing today, but will laugh tomorrow. The day after that, we may discover a solution that pleases us both. You believe that will happen – because faith manages. It gets us through the hard times and the good. It helps to support us when we might stumble. It gives us comfort when we feel alone. It promises us a better tomorrow when we are unhappy with today.
Do you understand – faith manages?
