Good morning and welcome to the weekend. It was a great week here in the Baby Blog, I got one of my all time favorite people back as a co-blogger (hey Valorie!) and we are well on our way to delivering our promise made at the end of 2006. So without further ado, here is our week in review:
Skin Color Changes – What Do They Mean? discussed what it means when your baby changes color from pink to white or white to bluish and more. It’s not always the sign of extreme danger and could just be representative of their immature circulatory situation. In When to See Your Doctor About Crying we discussed that while crying is very natural for your baby, you do need to pay attention to abnormal crying and the intensity of it.
Grandparents Have Paid Their Dues and they do have the right to indulge their grandchildren. For the grandparents who live at a distance, they get to do all the indulging they want on those rare visits, but the grandparents who live closer to home need to respect your rules and more. In My Advice to New Moms Valorie discussed some of the many lessons she’s learning about parenting and little ones.
We asked if you were a pushy parent in What Do You Want Your Baby To Be? after all, every baby is unique and talented. And for parents who don’t know What Do You Do When Your Baby is Choking? we answered some of your questions here. Valorie delved into a great new features here in the Baby Blog in our first Ask a Baby Blogger: Tips on Making Baby Food and in Baby Sniffles: What NOT to Do confronted the concerns we all have when our babies are congested and ill.
Finally, in Bottle Feeding & Acid Reflux we revisited an issue that can trouble many parents who bottle feed and what we can do about it. See what I mean about having a great week here in the Baby Blog! I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
