The Crock Pot and Barbecued Pork–A Marriage Made in Heaven!

Slow cookers (also called Crock-Pots) offer a convenient way to prepare meals. Beef stew, pot roast, barbecue beef or pork, chicken and rice, spaghetti sauce, and many more dinner meals can be placed in your slow cooker in the morning and enjoyed at dinnertime.

I particularly enjoy using my slow cooker in the winter months. The aromas of the food fragrance the house and whet the appetites of anyone who steps inside the door. The recipe I am sharing is both simple and delicious. It is pleasing enough to serve at a pot luck or family get together or at home for your family. And the best part about this recipe—it’s a no-fuss recipe, which makes it a great meal idea for busy families. Simply place all of your ingredients into the crock-pot and forget it for the rest of the day. This dish can also be made ahead (if you prefer to pre-cook some of your meals on the weekend) and served during the week!

I am always trying to find ways to simplify my weeknights and this as well as other slow cooker recipes have come to my rescue many times. I hope you will enjoy this recipe.
