It’s the weekend and we’re spending the weekend handling yard work, repairing a damaged fence so that we can keep our dogs contained and sharing the responsibility of looking after our daughter who came down with a bout of stomach flu. Marriage is a great deal about sharing responsibility, sharing commitment, sharing good times and sharing bad. So let’s take a look at our Marriage Blog week in review:

We launched the first part in a new series addressing marriage laws throughout our grand 50 states in the United States. Seriously…?!? What a Spring! addressed the fact that we had a storm blow through on Wednesday and when I say blow through, I mean blow through with 85 mile per hour winds that shredded trees, knocked down fences and flipped planes and more. Marriage in the News: Oregon Okays Bill for Domestic Partnerships takes a look at the recent passage by the state senate in Oregon of the bill granting same-sex partners the right to make domestic partnerships with all the benefits of marriage. In Marriage Laws: Massachusetts & Connecticut we took a look at two more states laws governing marriage and marriage licenses.
