Didn’t get in on the Dockers Free Flight deal? Don’t despair. Dockers has ANOTHER promotion going on, now through June 16, 2007. This time it’s through Kohl’s department store. It isn’t good online; the purchases must be made in the store. That’s about eighty minutes’ drive each way for me, but I’ve decided to go ahead and do it. (I can always pick up mystery shops along the way.)
Purchase $100 worth of men’s Dockers and receive a two-night stay at a participating hotel. That’s $100 after any discounts, and not including tax. I can probably get four pairs of Dockers for that. Happy Father’s Day! That will take care of both Paul and my father.
The catch? First, it’s participating hotels. For us, that’s great. The Seattle Waterfront Marriott, The Renaissance, and the Snoqualmie Ski Lodge are all listed and within weekend-getaway driving distance. The second catch is that you have to list three choices. Again, having three good quality ones in the area means any choice is a good one. Not all areas have three great choices. Third, you have to give three date choices. This is not necessarily a problem, even if your date needs to be firm. Choose your best date, then list two high occupancy days for the other two. Most hotels here are busy during the week, and quieter on the weekends when we could go, anyway.
This sounds like a great deal! But for something like this, with a fulfillment company that I don’t have any personal experience with, I’m keeping Paul’s pants in the bag in the closet with a copy of the receipt until the voucher comes. That way, if there is any problem, I can return them. I don’t anticipate any problem, but $100 is a lot of money. I think it’s worth the risk.
Purchase must be made by June 16, 2007. Receipt must be received by July 14, 2007.
