Want to add some Independence Day Spirit to your desktop or laptop? Why not try one of these patriotic wallpapers?
I hope that you are having a great Independence Day. And even if you aren’t in the United States, perhaps you want to join the rest of us in celebrating. For my family, well we have been having a great time. We just witnessed our first parade in our new town. After the parade was over, we had fun at the town park with balloons, popcorn, games and prizes. Later, we will be heading over to a nearby town for its big fireworks display.
So, you probably aren’t surprised that I just had to have some patriotic wallpaper on the screen of my laptop today. I did manage to narrow down my choices, but it wasn’t easy. I might even have to rotate them. Here are my very favorites.
Wallpaper Originals is one of my favorite places to get desktop wall papers anytime. Right now they have a stunning wall paper that features a deep blue cloth with shooting stars. Other patriotic choices include lady liberty, flags and fireworks and Mount Rushmore.

Tnspsc.com has a couple of really bold and colorful patriot wallpapers that are really inspirational. My favorite one on their site is a close-up of homespun flag that nestles a red heart. It is called “Heart of America.” I’m going to give you a link directly to that particular wallpaper. Although the site does have some other patriotic wallpapers, I want to spare you from having to weed through the many wallpapers that feature girls in bikinis. Click here for the Heart of America wallpaper.
You can of course do your own search for patriotic wallpapers. There are some pretty wild choices out there. Some of them are even animated. Just a word of caution, though. It is always safest to download a wallpaper that is a jpeg image. Just choose the size you need for your display. I generally stay away from the wallpapers that require you to download a program, because I never know what else may be waiting in that program along with the wallpaper.
