Schedules are important. For some people, they are the only way they know how to survive day to day. Everyone has one, even when they do not think they do. Waking up in the morning is even part of a schedule, even if it does occur at different times everyday.
Scrapbooking your schedule might seem silly to you. But you would be surprised at how quickly our schedules change, even when they don’t feel like they do. And each member of your household usually has a different schedule, giving you multiple opportunities at different layouts. The best part is, they are fun to look at after a couple of years, and you can update them each year.
In order to scrapbook your schedule, you need to pay careful attention to every detail of what you do from when you wake up in the morning, until you crash at the end of the day.
If you are a mother, your schedule is probably filled with plenty of duties that don’t directly benefit you, but do benefit your children. Do layouts for both you and each child. This way, it is from either perspective.
Do not forget the mundane everyday things we forget sometimes. Brushing our teeth, feeding the dog or cat, doing the dishes or maybe even turning the alarm clock off or hitting the snooze button. All of these things matter in your life, because they are a part of who you are.

A Moment in Time
A Glimpse of My Life
Where In the World is Mom?
So what pictures would you put on this page? Well, there are several different types that would work well. First, just a profile or portrait would work nicely. Use one from the time frame you are preserving. Or you could have someone follow you around for a couple of hours, snapping pictures of you making lunch or dinner, doing laundry or even just looking a bit frazzled.
It really does not matter what you do, just be sure to include the layout in your day to day scrapbooks, because looking back in time will be so much fun and your children will enjoy seeing what was happening at that time.
