He’s got a new miniseries to promote, but it seems Chris O’Donnell is much happier spreading the word about his growing family. The actor just announced that his wife Caroline is pregnant with the couple’s fifth child.
Yesterday O’Donnell told the hosts of NBC’s “Today” show that he is thrilled to be adding to his clan.
“Yeah, we’re just starting to figure out how it works. I think I know why this is happening, but we’re really excited about it,” joked O’Donnell.
The 37-year-old actor and Fentress have been married since 1997. The couple’s four other children are daughter Lily, 7, and sons Chip, 6, Charlie, 4, and Finley, 16 months.
O’Donnell’s next (non-family) related project is “Kit Kittredge: An American Girl Mystery,” a drama based on the American Girl line of dolls.
O’Donnell’s pending addition could find him or herself at a Hollywood playdate with actress Julianna Margulies’ baby-to-be. The 41-year-old former “ER” star and her fiancé Keith Lieberthal are reportedly expecting their first child this winter.
“Dancing With The Stars” professional dancer Ashly Delgrosso Costa is also sharing baby news. The 25-year-old and her husband Mike Costa welcomed their first child on July 27th. According to Costa’s website, the new baby, which they named Ammon Michael was born in Massachusetts. The name Ammon means “the hidden one” in Egyptian. Ammon was a god of wind and air in Egyptian mythology. However, Costa who is LDS says she drew the name from the Book of Mormon.
She may be 15-years-old, but to Greer Grammer will always be her father’s baby girl. Greer’s famous dad is Emmy award-winning actor Kelsey Grammer, a pop who is reportedly “over the moon” now that his daughter has been crowned Miss Teen Malibu 2008. Greer won the title on July 21st and will now compete for Miss California Teen USA in November. Grammer also has an older daughter Spencer, 23, from a prior relationship, and two younger children, Mason, 5, and Jude, 3, with his current wife Camille Donatacci.
