7 Reasons to Start A Blog

Have you been thinking of starting a blog lately? If you haven’t taken the plunge, you should. There are many great reasons to start a blog, and it has never been easier to do. And now, here are seven reasons why you should start a blog.

1. To keep in touch with family and friends. Do you have long distance folks who would love to know more about you and your family? Having a blog is a great way to let everyone know what is going on in your world.

2. To connect with new people. Reading, writing and commenting on blogs is a great way to meet new people online. And who knows, it may spark offline friendships, too.

3. To share a skill. Do you like to knit? Scrapbook? Cook? A blog is a great way to share you skills and passions with others.

4. To make a statement. Do you have something to say? Whether is has to do with the current political climate or parenting debates, a blog is a wonderful avenue for being heard. as your traffic builds up, you’ll reach lots of people to discuss the issues.
