No, Emmy-nominated “Ugly Betty” actress America Ferrera is not pregnant (big RUMOR), but she is looking to settle down in some new digs. The actress recently revealed that she and her longtime boyfriend are looking for a new home together.
Twenty-three-year-old Ferrera, first met her beau in college (University of Southern California) when he cast her in his student film. Now the two say they are ready to share living space with each other. But they say they want to do so away from the glitz and glamour of downtown L.A. (Is Beverly Hills far enough away?) They told reporters they want to find a nice house with a big back yard so their golden retriever Buddy can run like the wind.
Eva’s Triplets
Newlywed Eva Longoria is pregnant with triplets? RUMOR. While the actress acknowledges she and husband Tony Parker want “a ton” of kids, the “Desperate Housewives” actress is not pregnant… yet. However, when she does have children Longoria says they will speak three languages. Longoria and Parker say they want their kids to be trilingual and will teach their offspring the three languages they collectively speak – English, Spanish and French.
The 32-year-old actress speaks both English and Spanish fluently. Meanwhile, 25-year-old Parker is a native of France and English is his second language. The couple wed in Paris last month.
Longoria said she plans to expose her children to bilingual cartoon characters like Diego and Dora the Explorer. She also joked that when she was a kid, “Speedy Gonzales was the [only] bilingual character growing up and all he said was ‘Arriba! Arriba!'”
Merv On The Mend
REAL. According to news reports, Merv Griffin remains in the Intensive Care Unit at Cedars-Sinai Hospital, but doctors say they are hopeful that his condition will be upgraded soon.
Last month, the legendary game show producer was hospitalized for a recurrence of prostate cancer, which was discovered during a routine examination.
Currently, doctors are being tight-lipped about Griffin’s prognosis, which has led some to speculate that things are not looking good for the 82-year-old.
