I hope you had a great week and I hope you are now enjoying your Labor Day weekend. Labor Day was designed to celebrate the individual, the worker, the laborer, the people who work hard to make the American dream a reality. So, enjoy yourself. You deserve long weekend.
This week, in the Home Blog, we were inside and outside the home. We talked about phones, plants, safety, cleaning, air purification, and outdoor improvements, with articles on things like the pros and cons of trading a “landline” for a mobile phone and ways to add curb appeal.
There was a new cleaning tip for blinds, and some great news that shows how simple it is to improve your home’s air quality with houseplants. Safety issues for outdoor projects were also discussed, with a guide offering three important points to remember. Wear your safety gear, watch those wires, and call 811 (or a local number) before you dig.
We also got a new blogger in Home, so I would like to extend a warm welcome to Mary Ann Romans. She is not “new” to families.com and she has guest written in Home before, but now she’s on board full time to share her insights, experiences, and ideas. I look forward to reading her articles and I hope you do too. She has posted an introduction to help us get to know her a little bit better. Thanks Mary Ann, and welcome aboard!
