Celebrity Milestones: New Role, New Baby, New Home

NEW ROLE

Attention “One Life To Live” fans: an unlikely character is rolling into Llanview.

He’s never been to the fictional city before… heck; he’s never even acted before. But that’s not stopping Timbaland from trying something new.

The popular rapper-producer who made headlines recently when he offered to save Britney Spears’ career (she turned him down) will appear on ABC’s “One Life to Live” on October 9th.

The 35-year-old musician, who has collaborated on No. 1 songs for Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado, will be performing his hit single “The Way I Are” from his new album during the October episode.

Timbaland now joins the ranks of Mary J. Blige, Erykah Badu and Chris Botti who have also performed on the daytime soap.

NEW BABY

She may not have walked away with an Emmy Sunday night, but I highly doubt actress Mary-Louise Parker lost much sleep over it.

What may be fueling her restless nights is her new daughter. According to Parker’s rep, the “Weeds” star just adopted a baby girl from Africa.

The 43-year-old actress is keeping tight-lipped about the new addition to her family, which includes her 3-year-old son, Will (his dad is actor Billy Crudup).

NEW HOME

If you have ever wanted to see how Nicole Kidman and hubby Keith Urban live, now is your big chance.

The New York Post is reporting that the stars’ “Private, yet convenient … tranquil celebrity retreat” in one of Nashville’s upscale gated communities is up for sale.

For a cool $2.5 million you’ll get a 10-room home with a gym, pool and spa. According to the real estate company trying to sell the property, the residence was built in 2004 and was “recently completed, landscaped and decorated for the most discriminating clients. Interior spaces flow freely and offer spectacular hillside views.”

Country music fans… don’t let the “For Sale” sign fool you. The Australian-born musician says he and his bride are not leaving Tennessee. Rather, the notoriously shy couple reportedly found another parcel of land in Nashville and say they plan to design and build their dream home there.
