-Monday Photo Challenge – Changing Leaves

Photography Challenges are designed to get you motivated. To get you to think outside the box. These photo challenges have gotten me motivated to look around me and capture much more with my camera than I did before. I am hoping that you are enjoying these challenges as much as I do.

Each Monday, I post a challenge that you can choose to do, or you can choose not to do. That is completely up to you. My hope is that when you do the photo challenges, it is getting you to think outside the box, and obviously to take more photographs.

The purpose of the challenges are to get you to play around with your camera, get to know its features, its capabilities, just get to know it better. I want you to try out new angles, lighting techniques and more. I also want you to photograph things you might not have otherwise though of and have beautiful pictures in the process. How can you beat that?

This week’s photo challenge:

October is a great time to really capture the changing elements that fall brings. Leaves changing colors or falling to the ground, bare tree limbs and even the occasional frost on the ground in the morning. While all of these are beautiful and would be fun to capture on film, your challenge this week is to get some shots of those gorgeous changing leaves. Choose a tree that you could photograph during each season, in your yard or at a nearby park. Or just get creative, driving down the highway seeing the hundreds of leaves changing, try to snap a photograph. Get up close and personal with a leaf that is only half changed. You can get all the beautiful colors as the leaf begins its yearly change.

Fall is a beautiful season and one of my favorites to capture with my camera.

So what interesting snapshots did you get? You can add your photograph(s) to the gallery if you would like, and then please let me know in the comments field.

If there is something you would like to see, or something that you are wanting to learn more about or see more examples of, that I might be able to incorporate into a challenge, let me know.
