It was big doings at our house Tuesday night when Murph’s best friend in the whole wide world, Tucker, stopped by for a surprise sleepover.
Aimee gave tips for buying, filling, and maintaining a tropical aquarium so that both you and the fish that inhabit it will enjoy it.
When Disasters Affect Animals: California’s Wildfires
An email update from Wayne Pacelle, the President and CEO of the Humane Society of the United States, prompted me to write about the efforts to save domestic pets, farm animals, horses, and wildlife threatened by the wildfires.

One thing I’ve learned from reading all of Aimee’s fish articles is that tropical tanks tend to require more care. She was back with some other Dos and Don’ts for maintaining a healthy tank.
Saturday, October 27
Lally developed a cough, but since colds aren’t transmittable from people to pets, Aimee tried to diagnose what could be ailing Lally. She listed some possible triggers, including allergies which Lally’s susceptible to. But if it doesn’t get better a trip to the vet to rule out some other things may be in order.
Since Halloween’s rapidly approaching, I felt it was a good time to talk about how some friends of ours have dubbed Mr. Meow the Pet Sematary cat because he can act kind of creepy at times.
