The hottest actor on daytime TV (at least in my opinion) is giving you a chance to learn his smooth moves… on the dance floor.
Cameron Mathison has come up with an ingenious way to raise money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, an industry-based HIV/AIDS fundraising organization. He’s putting himself up for auction and hoping all his female fans will fight for the chance to shimmy up to his hot bod.
Where is that lottery payout when you need it?
The 38-year-old star of the ABC daytime soap opera “All My Children” is offering private dance lessons and the opportunity to perform with him on March 2 to benefit the AIDS charity.
Goodness knows you’ll be in good hands. You’ll recall Mathison made it to the quarterfinals on last season’s “Dancing with the Stars.” Heck, even if he hadn’t made it that far you’d still be in good hands, but with his experience on the dance floor it just means your feet will be spared from any unfortunate missteps.
Actually, Mathison revealed a secret on the day he announced he would be putting himself up for bid—he’s not the one who will be teaching the winner how to dance, rather his pro dance partner from ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ Edyta Sliwinska, will be the one choreographing the dance and teaching the winner all the right moves.
The winning bidder will be flown to New York for rehearsals, then the lucky dame will join Mathison on ABC’s “The View” to show off their new moves.

Finally, I just had to share the results of this next TV-related contest. Had I know about it in advance I would have surely entered myself.
Earlier this week a new winner was crowned in the ESPN Zone Ultimate Couch Potato Competition. It began Tuesday morning at the ESPN Zone restaurant in Times Square and ended 29 grueling hours later with one sports obsessed couch spud walking away the champ.
The contest pitted four self-professed couch potatoes against each other in the heart of the Big Apple. Each sat in recliners in front of a dozen 42-inch high-definition plasma televisions and a couple of 14-foot HD projection TVs, which featured college football bowl games and endless highlights loops. The contestants could order unlimited food and drinks, but they weren’t allowed to go to sleep or leave their recliners except for restroom breaks once every eight hours.
In the end a Manhattan librarian emerged as the couch potato champ after three rivals gave in to sleep deprivation or nature’s call. The winner caught a break when his final competitor ran to the bathroom before the allotted break time.
The librarian walked away with a $5,000 prize package including a giant screen TV, a recliner and a trophy with a potato on it.
