Wedding Planning and Life Styles

I have always heard that the summer months, especially June, are the prime wedding months.

Most brides plan their weddings around how fast they desire to get married and which month they prefer.

I had really never considered how weddings should also be planned around lifestyles until I recently read an article in a magazine.

The magazine was primarily taking the farming family wedding into consideration. While the summer months are usually the popular wedding times, they can be disastrous for farming families.

These months are prime for harvesting and caring for crops, cutting hay, and cattle farming.

While your farming finance may take a day off for the wedding, do you really want your first month together spent with him having late nights in the fields?

As the magazine also took into consideration, what about all of your anniversaries to come? Would you ever be able to take a trip for your anniversary during this time of the year?

Farming is not the only occupation that can greatly affect wedding plans. Accountants and CPAs are sure to have much less time for romancing during the tax season months of the beginning of the year through April.

Many other careers hit peak times. Construction workers are busier during the spring and summer when the weather is nicer for outside work. Teachers and others in the education field can find more free time in the summer months.

These brides marrying coaches and others in the sports fields should plan weddings during the off seasons. The same goes for those who are marrying avid hunters.

Therefore, instead of thinking the sooner you get married the better. Also think about timing. When will you and your new spouse be able to spend the most time together? What time of the year will have the least amount of stress for both of you?
