DESERT LIVING’S FIRST ANNUAL PHOTOGRAPHYCONTEST. Think your photos are worth publishing? Visit and enter to win! What are we looking for? Landscapes, cityscapes, nature, architecture, people, travel, societal, food, fashion, action, sports, whatever your creative heart desires. Quality. Composition. Lighting. Emotion. The finalists will be published in the July/Aug 2006 issue of Desert Living magazine. A five-person panel consisting of the top minds in art, architecture, design and photography will judge your work. Deadline to enter May 1, 2006.
THE THIRD 25 UNDER 25 COMPETITION. The Center For Documentary Studies at Duke University is asking for submissions to the 25 Under 25 photography competition. You may submit 25 images on CD in JPEG format at the highest setting. Your images must be clearly labeled and color images should be in RGB format. The fee is $25 and your submission should include a SASE for return materials along with a stamped post card for receipt notification. The deadline is April 28, 2006. The International Library of Photography is now accepting entries for its amateur photography competition. The contest is open to everyone and entry is free. Check it out!
