Did anyone think the strange hook up between comedienne Kathy Griffin and mega-zillionaire Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak would last?
Frankly, I seriously doubt either one of them thought they were in it for the long haul. However, I do find the timing of Wozniak’s recent wedding to be quite surprising.
According to Griffin, the odd couple split some time ago, but it was just a few weeks ago that she found out that he got married to someone else.
Whoa! How’s that for moving on?
The comic says, “I got an email last week from him, and he is going to marry someone else. I think he might be married.”
He is, but the acerbic “View” co-host wannabe is apparently not bitter about it: “He is an awesome guy, but I have to say he is in the friends category now.”
Meanwhile, pop star Jessica Simpson is telling the world her story about moving on with life post Nick Lachey.
The singer turned actress is giving all the credit to new boyfriend Tony Romo. According to Simpson, the Dallas Cowboys’ superstar helped her reignite her failing career by allowing her feel good in her own skin.
The voluptuous songstress tells all in the latest edition of Glamour magazine in which she spills the beans on her past relationships with Lachey and ex-boyfriend John Mayer. Simpson claims the pairings with the singers failed because there was too much competition between them.
But now that she is dating someone “out of the business” Simpson says she is a “new woman.” She tells Glamour, “Tony made me feel comfortable (being myself) again. We got to know each other by talking, which I think is the best way.”
Hmmm… talking as opposed to…
Simpson also dished about the couple’s first dinner date. She admits she and Romo did take a break from “talking” to share a first kiss… and a second… and a third.
Oddly, as much as she gushes about her pro football boy toy in the article Simpson doesn’t seem to be 100% sure about a future together with him.
At the end of the Glamour piece she says, “This article could come out and Tony and I could be broken up but he still deserves all the accolades for bringing me back to who I am.”
Do you think Simpson and Romo will end up walking down the aisle together any time soon or will they end up like the singer’s sister Ashlee?
