What do you get the married superstar couple that has absolutely everything they need?
Check out Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s wedding registry and you’ll get the answer.
Yes, they’re already married. And, yes, they already have more than most couples could ever dream of owning… in a lifetime. Yet Carey and Cannon want you to know that it is not too late to buy them even more “stuff.” The newlyweds just registered at upscale New York City department store Bergdorf Goodman.
This, despite the fact that the pair secretly wed at Carey’s seaside mansion in the Bahamas two months ago. Last week the singers finally got around to deciding on the lavish presents fans and friends could buy them. The 40-item wish list includes a 19th-century Moser vase, a Buccellati sterling silver picture frame and 24 Christofle Aria place settings, which sell for more than $2,100 each.
The couple noted that the gifts could be presented to them later this summer at the posh party they plan to throw to celebrate their nuptials.
Another megawatt Hollywood couple that doesn’t need another material possession, but hasn’t already tied the knot is Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The pair is expecting twins later this summer and now rumors are swirling that the unconventional duo has decided they want to get married soon after Jolie gives birth.
In Touch magazine is reporting that Brangelina will tie the knot in front of small group of family and friends in a chapel on the grounds of the French estate they are currently renting.
The super-secret couple has taken over the exclusive 35-room Chateau Miraval in Provence, with their four children and assistants.
The two have often insisted to the media that have no plans to become man and wife, but according to In Touch, the fact there’s a tiny chapel yards away from where the family sleeps is leading many to think otherwise.
An insider, who is familiar with the chapel, tells the magazine, “It’s simplistic yet romantic and intimate. There are stained-glass windows at the front and back, 10 wooden pews and an old wood floor. There’s also a rustic wooden altar with beautiful ivory candles.”
Word has it that Pitt loves the isolated French property so much that he tried to buy it from its current owner, but was denied.
