Who doesn’t love to go to the mall and find free stuff? This week, my daughter and I had fun shopping for a new bunch of freebies. We visited Wet Seal, Bath and Body Works, Origins, and New York and Company. I printed double coupons so she could shop with me. She is learning the art of shopping including how to pay for purchases, asking for what she wants, and using coupons to get more for her dollar.
Our first stop was Wet Seal. They have a coupon for a free Chilosa tank top by Prima J Tank. They also had $5 t-shirts and tanks, $10 dresses and minis, and $5 sunglasses and sandals. The coupon expires July 3, 2008.
Next, we stopped at Origins for a skin care consultation. We had a choice of their Paradise Found Balinese body glow or body cleanser as a free gift with the coupon. It’s only good in their retail stores, not the department stores, while supplies last. The consultant did a great job of explaining my daughter’s skin to her. She gave her lots of great tips on how to wash her face and keep her skin healthy.
We stopped at Auntie Anne’s Pretzels to get a free pretzel. By now, Mom was ready for a break. This coupon can be printed twice by using your computer’s back button.
We had the most fun at Bath and Body Works. We love to smell all of the different products and plan our spa nights. We used a coupon to get a free Lip Favorite or Anti-Bacterial Hand Gel with any purchase. This coupon expires on July 6, 2008. They also allowed us to use a second coupon to receive a free 2.5 oz bottle of the Signature Collection Body Lotion with any purchase. This coupon expires July 16, 2008. BBW had lots of samples on sale for $1. Even the body lotions and shower gels in the new scent, Rain Kissed Leaves, were on sale. We received a bounce back coupon to use July 7th through August 3rd for a free aromatherapy item of our choice with a $10 purchase. We will use this one when we do our back to school shopping.
When I got home, I found out that if you sign up for New York and Company’s email, they will send you a 20% off coupon to use in their stores. This will be a good coupon for back to school shopping too.
It was another great visit to the mall. It got us out of the house and we found lots of free items to enjoy. I didn’t have to break the budget to go shopping. If you haven’t checked out my previous blogs on mall shopping, do so. Many of those deals are still in effect.
