Eat Out for Free

Eating out can be very expensive, which is why I always talk about making meals at home to save money. There are some ways that you can eat out and enjoy your meal for free! Not too many people know about most of these secrets, but I’ll share them with you today. Try them out and post about your experiences.

Trial Runs

A great way to eat a great meal out for free is to keep your eyes open for new restaurants that are getting ready to open. Ask the manager of the restaurant when the kitchen will be doing a trial run and if you can participate. Most restaurants have a night before opening where they practice cooking and serving before they actually open the restaurant to paying customers.

Normally, the management seeks out friends and friends of friends to try to fill up the place, but they are usually only too happy to add on anyone who is interested. You might have a limited menu, but it will be all for free, and you can bet that the kitchen will be working hard to make everything perfect.

Mystery Shopping

When you are a mystery shopper, you can be sent out to visit a restaurant, order and eat a meal. After the meal, you’ll fill out a report rating everything from the quality of the food to the wait time. Most mystery shopping companies will pay you for this service as well as reimburse you for the expensive of the meal. You can usually take your family with you to eat as well. Most mystery shopping requires you to visit on specific days and sometimes even specific times, so it helps to be flexible.

Next up I’ll share four more ways to eat out for free. Check back soon and don’t miss it!
