Nicole Kidman and Camila Alves aren’t the only hot mamas grabbing headlines this week.
She might not have Alves’ figure or Kidman’s salary, but MSNBC Washington bureau chief Norah O’Donnell has something else that some women might envy—three beautiful and healthy children… under the age of two.
Okay, maybe the last part is not as enviable as the first part…
Truth be told, all three kids are not under the age of two. Actually, two of them are barely a year old while the other is less than a week old.
Grace and Henry are O’Donnell and husband Geoff Tracy’s fraternal twins, who just turned 13 months. Riley Norah Tracy is the newest addition to the Tracy household; she was born on Saturday, July 5 and weighed 8 pounds.
A few weeks ago, immediately following her boss Tim Russert’s death, the 34-year-old broadcast journalist announced to the world that she planned to give her then unborn baby the name Russert had chosen to give his own child had it been a girl. (Russert and his wife Maureen Orth were blessed with a son nearly 23 years ago, who they named Luke.)
Russert was the one who publicly announced O’Donnell’s pregnancy in February remarking on his “Meet the Press” show that the political reporter would be giving birth to an Irish triplet.
For those of you doing the math O’Donnell has been pregnant 18 of the last 22 months.
Can you image being a first time mom to 4-month-old twins and learning you were pregnant again?
Triple blessing or triple threat?
Lara Logan should keep O’Donnell’s number on speed dial.
The chief foreign affairs correspondent for CBS News just revealed that she is expecting her first child in January.
Great news, right? Well, not exactly given Logan’s situation.
The good-looking TV journalist tells The Washington Post that her pregnancy was unplanned and the father is a married federal contractor whom she met while stationed in Iraq.
Logan’s baby’s father is Joseph Burkett, a guy who is in the midst of a nasty divorce from his wife, with whom he has a 3-year-old daughter.
Logan has her own issues—-she’s going through a divorce from her estranged husband Jason Siemon, a Chicago-based energy lobbyist whom she married in 1998, but hasn’t seen in a couple of years.
Logan, who gained notoriety for her award-winning war coverage, says she and Burkett plan to marry at some point. The 37-year-old, who also contributes to “60 Minutes,” has left Iraq and is now based in Washington. The torrid details of her personal life recently made the front page of the New York Post and media insiders say Logan’s baby drama will likely continue until she gives birth.
