“Rumor, rumor, rumor,” claims Barry Manilow’s reps in regards to reports that the legendary singer is wasting away.
Numerous publications and websites have been running photos of the emaciated crooner in recent weeks with captions that made fun of his frail and skeletal appearance.
The rabid media speculation prompted Manilow’s reps to issue a statement denying stories that the singer is dying and weighs in at less than 100 pounds.
The public statement reads in part, “[Barry] is pretty trim but 100 pounds? Give us a break… and no, he’s not ill.”
Manilow’s rep also urged fans to judge for themselves by attending the hitmaker’s one-man show in Las Vegas.

From RUMOR to REAL.
It looks as though Jennifer Garner will have to start wearing her running shoes when she goes out in public.
The actress, who has been at the center of pregnancy rumors for the past few months, has been outed by her former on-screen dad.
Garner’s former “Alias” co-star Victor Garber – who officiated the couple’s 2005 wedding – recently confirmed that the actress is about 5 months pregnant with her second child.
The actress and her husband actor Ben Affleck are already parents to daughter Violet, who was born in December 2005.
The 36-year-old actress hinted in October that she wanted to have another child.
“We definitely wonder what it would be like to have another – hopefully, knock on wood, someday,” Garner told Britain’s Marie Claire.
Two months ago rumors starting swirling that Garner might have a bun in the oven when she was repeatedly photographed wearing loose fitting tops and sporting a bigger bust.
If Garber is right about Garner’s gestation, the Affleck’s newest family member should arrive right around daughter Violet’s third birthday.
By the way, reps for the actress have declined to comment about Garner’s expanding waistline, which pretty much confirms what Garber is saying is true.
