Did you hear the one about the gorgeous country music singer, who gets dumped by her pro football player boyfriend, then hooks up with a real-life doctor, who shot to fame on a reality TV show and is now starring in a syndicated talk show?
It’s a classic Hollywood hook-up.
Several news outlets are reporting that “American Idol” champ Carrie Underwood has moved on from her failed relationship with Dallas Cowboy quarterback Tony Romo (Jessica Simpson’s current beau) and is dating doctor and television personality Travis Stork.
The 25-year-old singer has reportedly been seeing the 36-year-old former “Bachelor” star for seven months. Tabloids say the two met back in 2006, but their romance didn’t blossom until earlier this year.
According to the National Enquirer, “Carrie and Travis quickly developed a long-distance phone and text-message relationship, but they’ve kept their feelings for one another under the radar until now.”
Apparently, the couple has now decided to go public with their romance because (according to sources) they’re discussing marriage.
Asked about the rumored coupling with Underwood, Stork, who is one of the hosts of the syndicated talk show “The Doctors,” told reporters that he doesn’t “kiss and tell.”
Hmmm… who knew Travis Stork and George Clooney would actually have something in common?
The hunky movie star has also been keeping mum on his rumored romance with ex-girlfriend Krista Allen.
The couple has had an on-again-off-again relationship since 2002 when Clooney cast Allen in “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.” Now it appears the Oscar winner and the former soap opera actress are back on again.
The handsome couple dated for nearly two years before Allen broke up with Clooney in 2004. The former “ER” star moved on with model Lisa Snowden for a while before trying again with Allen in 2006. When the relationship fizzled again Clooney hooked up with model Sarah Larson. Their romance bit the dust a year later, and now, if the rumors are true, Georgie boy is back with Allen, who, according to friends “has always been there” for the 47-year-old movie hunk.
