Turkey Day is almost here. Hopefully you have your plans all made for Thanksgiving and the Thanksgiving meal. How about the decorations? Here are some ideas for decorating, as well as links to some free printable decorations.
If you have rubber stamps, you can make some great napkin holders. Just stamp out a “thanks” message, a general design or even a turkey on to a piece of colored paper. Cut the paper into a strip, wrap it around a rolled napkin and tape in the back.
Family Fun
Family Fun Magazine’s web site has a lot of great step by step ideas for Thanksgiving decorations. I like the little pumpkins made out of votive candles and the apple candlesticks. The projects are geared for families, so everyone can get in on the act and decorate away. They even have directions for making traditional corn cob dolls!

HP Thanksgiving Kids Table
HP is offering lots of fun activities and decorations for the kids table. There are many different place mats, from ones the kids can color to three-dimensional placements that require elaborate folding. Table decorations include a colorful headband and a fat 3D turkey.

YouTube How to Make Thanksgiving Decorations
You Have to love YouTube. There are lots of different videos that show you how to make your own Thanksgiving decorations. One of my favorite videos is one that shows you how to make colorful turkeys out of pine cones and craft foam.
