More Bad News for Jessica Simpson and Don Imus

Jessica Simpson proves once again that you don’t need to memorize the words to a song to be a singer. As long as you look good in Daisy Dukes, and can use cheat sheets in the recording studio, you can call yourself a recording star.

For the seventh time this year, Simpson was left red-faced and teary-eyed at a concert when she forgot the lyrics to two of her songs.

She wasn’t drunk, fatigued or under duress; instead the blonde crossover says she simply blanked during a concert in California on Saturday.

The gig was her final performance as the opening act on Rascal Flatts’ Bob Your Head Tour, and she sure ended it with a bang. According to reports, Simpson’s set was dogged by mishaps as she forgot the lines to “Remember That” and “Still Don’t Stop Me.”

Imus told listeners that he is suffering from Stage 2 cancer, but said he was confident “his doctors will beat it.” The once disgraced DJ also revealed that he wrestled with the idea of making the news public, but figured he should because he might have to miss some work due to treatment.

“I’m changing the name of the Imus Cattle Ranch for Kids with Cancer to the Imus Cattle Ranch for Kids with cancer and me,” Imus joked during his show Monday, referring to his charity to help children with cancer.

The one-time shock jock added that he was surprised by the diagnosis, since he’s been followed a healthy diet for the past decade.

As for the former Rutgers’ players he infamously dissed, they’re not surprised at all by Imus’ diagnosis. The reason: Something about karma being a…
