If there was ever a time to visit Shamu and company this is it. Right now SeaWorld is offering unprecedented deals to families who want to mingle with marine life.
The popular Orlando, Florida, theme park is offering a phenomenal “But 3 Nights, Get 2 Free” package deal when you book a stay at nearly two-dozen local hotels. In addition to getting the 40 percent lodging discount, you also get unlimited admission for the week to SeaWorld and either its popular sister water park, Aquatica, or Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Prices for the five-night package start at $561 for a family of four.
Rates differ depending on when you travel, so it’s best to test out a number of different options prior to booking. For example, if you were to book a Friday-to-Wednesday stay in early August, the lowest advertised price is about $670 for five nights at the Courtyard Orlando on International Drive. This works out to about $130 per night for lodging plus theme-park tickets for a family of four.
The catch: You must book by June 30 and travel by September 7, 2009.
If you are looking for family fun under $100, then consider these other fabulous hotel deals:
The ultra-luxe Xona Resort Suites in Scottsdale, Arizona, is offering one-bedroom suites for $69 per night. If you don’t think that’s a steal, consider that the regular rate is $249 per night. All suites feature a kitchen and the resort is also home to a spectacular pool. The deal is good from May 8-December 31, 2009.
For just $99 a night, you and your children can stay at the upscale four-star Loews Coronado Bay Resort in San Diego. The reduced rate reflects a 50 percent savings. The deal runs from April 19-May 30, 2009.
