Strike out and make some money at home without an investment.
You have all seen the ads about making money at home in your spare time. At least 90 percent of these ads (if not all of them) can be scams that require you to pay for something up front or simply give you the instructions for placing your own make money at home ad and hope for gullible people just like you to give you money.
This practice makes me so angry because the victims of it are usually frugal-minded moms who want to be able to stay home with their children, or retired people who need a little extra money to get by. Instead of pursuing these false opportunities, you can make money at home on your own.
Treasure hunting
I was just on the phone yesterday with a friend of mine who needs to raise some money for her son’s expensive choir trip. She came up with a great solution. She is going around every Tuesday night during bulk trash pick up in her town and neighboring towns to salvage anything that can be sold. At the end of the month, she will be holding a giant yard sale to raise the money that she needs. She can do her treasure hunting in the evenings without the kids, and the whole family can help with the sale.
Blogging
If you have something interesting to say, you could make money by blogging. Advertisers will pay bloggers who bring in a lot of traffic. You place ads and links on your site and get paid every time some views the ad, clicks on the ad, or buys something from the ad, depending on the advertiser. You’ll need to keep your website updated frequently, but it is generally not a hard thing to do at home. Google “affiliate marketing” to learn more about this.
