Most of the visible changes during pregnancy all happen around your midsection. Some changes (a growing bump) are more welcome than others (stretch marks), but all of them fade after birth or disappear all together. If you’re looking for information about the changes you’re seeing, this is the place to look! I’ve gathered some of the best Families blogs on the topic. In no particular order…

Belly Button Protrusion
“What happened to my belly button?” For some pregnant woman, their belly buttons seem to stay in tact. Some protrude and some seem to flat-out disappear! There’s no way to predict how your belly button will respond to the stretching of the skin around it. Not only is your navel pulled taut, it may also be affected by the position of the baby. If your belly button does protrude (as mine did), it may take some time for it to return back to normal after you give birth. For a while it may have a loose and stretched out appearance. It may droop and appear to frown, as though it’s sad. Don’t worry, it will gradually return to its original shape.
