Getting Free Stuff from Rewards Programs

I just had a super email in my inbox. Mypoints.com sent me a link to a $1 off two Birdseye Steamfresh Lightly Sauced Vegetables. For clicking on the link I got 5 Mypoints points. Print the coupon – another 15 points. Redeem the coupon – 300 points! Mypoints has long made coupons.com and smartsource coupons an opportunity to earn points when these printables are redeemed.

I love Mypoints best of all the online point programs. It is very easy to get points without purchasing anything, if you sign up for their emails and click through the offers. You can also take surveys for points, or play online games. And of course, there is shopping. For me, not only do I not have to spend money to get points, but I can actually profit through using the printable coupons through their site. My choice is to redeem the points for gift cards. I like to get CVS cards and combine those with ECBs to buy more things that give me ECBs to spend later. Or, I redeem for a Walmart certificate.

You’ll find that there are a number of cashback sites that reward you with online rebates for shopping. Mypoints is one of the few that rewards you for clicking on emails and printing coupons. You can also get rewards for emails with Memolink and Inbox Dollars. Of course, when you actually shop online, you should pay with a credit card that pays you back with points or rebates.

Another points program I like is MyCokeRewards. This has been going on for several years. They cut back their big ticket prizes last year, but you can still redeem codes from specially marked coke products for free products, and some nice premiums. I have received restaurant.com gift certificates, Free Omaha Steaks, and discounts on car rentals in addition to free coke. Right now, they are having a contest, to reward the person who enters the billionth code a 10,000 point spending spree. The code counter is now approaching 993,000,000. This is one deal I am going to keep watching!
