For the first time since rumors of her husband’s infidelities leaked, Academy Award winning actress Sandra Bullock has made a public appearance – well, sort of public. Bullock was seen at the home of Gabriel Brener, the head of a private investment firm. Brener is reportedly a close friend who was among the guests at Bullock’s 2005 wedding to Jesse James.
While Bullock hasn’t been out much, she has had visitors. Comedian George Lopez told PEOPLE that he visited Bullock for a few minutes the day after the Kids’ Choice Awards. “She’s great. We love her. We all love her,” Lopez said, “She is an amazing person.”
There have been rumors that Bullock planned to adopt James’ three children, but with both parents still alive, that seems odd and her rep confirmed that there are no such plans.
As for James, there seems to be nothing but bad news. So far, four women have said they had affairs with him since his marriage to Bullock. There are photos circulating on the web of mistress Michelle “Bombshell” McGee wearing a Swastika armband. Not long ago, photos of James himself in a Nazi visor doing a “Heil Hitler” salute turned up. The photo was reportedly taken in 2004 and done for what friends call “shock value.”
James entered an Arizona treatment facility recently, although his reps won’t confirm what it is for. His lawyer, Joe Yanny, said that James is a “broken man” and the “single most important thing to Mr. James and the children is that the marriage somehow survive.”
Could it get any worse? Maybe. On Tuesday, James was cited for slashing the tires and denting and scratching of an SUV owned by photographer Ulises Rios. While James reportedly damaged the car outside his West Coast Chopper bike shop last week, Rios was also cited for stalking James.
